Odell-Bade Wedding

Last night we hosted the very beautiful Odell-Bade Wedding Reception. Everything was classy and elegant and a lot of fun. (In fact, there was a record turn-out on the dance floor!) It was a beautiful event and I managed to snap some pictures while I was at it!

The colors were white, silver, and purple. Very elegant. The tables were set with our linen and the chairs were covered and tied with silver sashes. The napkins were a similar shade of gray and folded over the table. Very modern.

This reception started at 5:00, so I couldn't get any night shots in, but the Ballroom looked more beautiful as the night went on.

For centerpieces, several different arrangements were used to give every table a little something special. This table included floating candles.

The colors of these flowers were just beautiful.

These arrangements added some beautiful color to the room.

Those are actually crystals that were used to weigh down the flowers in the vase.

The head table was set for twelve, making it the focal point for the whole room. The bridesmaids later placed their bouquets in the vases on the table.

We love candy bars! The purple and silver were used to make the candy bar unique. We actually had a few sashes that were not used, so we used them as runners for a few of the tables.

Each placesetting had a little bag to be filled with candy. The bride actually assembled and wrote the messages herself! The turned out great!

This one turned out a little blurry... On the other side of the cards, the bride and groom encouraged everyone to "enjoy the candy bar!"

The cake was also very elegant, and we also used an extra sash to add to the presentation. The bride and groom displayed pictures of their parents on their wedding days on the cake table. Finally, the cake table was the perfect spot to display the bride's toss bouquet.

During the cocktail reception, guests were treated to a fruit, vegetable, and cheese display in the center of the dance floor. The chefs did a great job making it look beautiful.

Here's a close-up.

In case you were wondering where the veggies were, they were on the other side!

We used serpentine tables again this weekend to give the buffet a curve. Carved beef tenderloin was available on the end.

By the time I finished taking pictures, it was time for the party to start! The new couple had a great time and everyone commented on how beautiful it all was.
