Suttle Rehearsal Dinner

This past weekend at Bluegrass, we hosted the Suttle Rehearsal Dinner in our Glassroom. This room is perfect for a gathering of 30-100. The Glassroom is beautiful by itself, with its great view of the golf course, but the Suttle's vision really transformed the room!

Effortless hostessing: a custom-made sign directed the guests to their table.

The guests signed a mat to be framed in their new home. Keeping with the theme, we provided some apples for decoration!

The guests were each given a little goody bag to take with them. We incorporated the color scheme of the room with more apples and a damask table runner.

For this event, we rented chair covers with black organza sashes. We used our house linens for the table cloths along with some special damask table runners. Finally, apple green napkins were added for that special pop of color!

Framed table numbers and custom place cards continued the theme.

Now that's a pretty table! Did I mention that the menu included lots of green apples?

The head table got a little something extra. I think this centerpiece is so cool!

The perfect background music: the free pianist! While adding a touch of class, our player piano is the perfect background accompaniment to your evening.  No charge!

Passed hors d'oeurves were available for the cocktail hour. And we even managed to coordinate the mini shrimp cocktails!

Parker/Bratcher Rehearsal Dinner

Who says the Ballroom is too big?! While the Grand Ballroom here at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club may look like daunting with its 4700 square feet, but it is actually a very flexible room! For the Parker/Bratcher Rehearsal Dinner this past Friday, an intimate gathering for just 65 people, the Ballroom was just right.

We normally put the greeting tables outside the room (to signal "Hey! The party is over here!"), but with the extra space, eh, why not? Pictures of the happy couple greeted guests as they entered the room.

We set up all the seating on the dance floor, which kept the guests close and intimate. The head table stretched across the edge of the dance floor along the windows.

We took up as much room as we needed with the buffet.

And for the pre- and post-dinner conversation, why not some soft seating? We created this "lounge" area for guests to mingle and watch the slideshow.

The Ballroom isn't just for big events! Need to host an event for 30? Or perhaps 300? Call Kat Baumgartner today! 615-824-6528 Ext. or E-mail me!
