Brewer-Webb Wedding

Here at Bluegrass, we have several rooms which can be used for event space. Our Heritage Room is great for small meetings and also doubles as the bridal suite on wedding days. The Glassroom is just beautiful with it's view of the 18th green and the lovely covered patio. The Ballroom is of course our star with it's tray ceilings, built-in bar and dance floor, and a full 4400 square feet.

In the summertime, however, we add one more room to our repertoire: the Pool! For those looking for something a little more low-key and casual, the Bluegrass pool is a great option to enjoy the wonderful summertime Tennessee weather.

This weekend, the pool opened on May 28th and right away we started it off with a wedding reception. Yes, that's right. For those who think the pool is only an option for children's birthday parties, think again! Prepare to look at wedding receptions in a whole new way:

The guests we welcomed by this beautiful guest book table along with a photo album of the couple. There are actually lights in those giant champagne glasses, just didn't show up very well with my camera.

A few strands of Christmas lights, tiki torches, and linen dress up the existing patio furniture.

DIY centerpieces: a table runner, floral arrangements, sashes from the ceremony chairs, and our mirrors and votives.

Here's a close-up!

The gift table.

The buffet looks just as good as our weekly Sunday brunch. An offering of hors d'oeuvres was perfect for the later reception.

For a little extra light, the pool was lined with these paper bags which held tea lights.

The guests were treated to a beautiful sunset as they arrived.

The groom's cake was a chocolate delight complete with strawberries.

The wedding cake was the centerpiece of the whole party.
