Stanley/Craddock Wedding and Reception

Congratulations to Tara and Shane! We are just so excited for you! This past Saturday, October 22nd, we hosted their Wedding AND Reception here at the Club! The Glassroom was transformed, the Ballroom looked like a nightclub, and the whole crowd had a fantastic time!

The bride has some really special friends over at Visual Elements, and after they got done with the Glassroom, I was amazed!

Where are we? A Greek Cathedral? Nope! We are in our very own Glassroom! Perfect for ceremonies up to 200 people!

Wow! That's a floral arrangement! We moved this onto the gift table after the ceremony.
Check out these other pictures of the Glassroom:

The Ballroom was lit up with some specialty lighting.

Wow! Once it got dark, it looked even cooler!

Purple Table Runners gave the tables an elegant touch of color. Our fantastic brandy glasses with floating candles served as a classic centerpiece.

Yes, we had couches in the Ballroom! A few throw pillows made the seating area inviting.
Those square cocktail tables actually glowed! It was like a nightclub in the Ballroom!

The head table was on display with these really cool flower balls. (Well, what else do you call them?) They were hung very easily on the hooks inside the tray ceiling.

Here's the gift table before we could get the other floral arrangement on it. The Bride and Groom had coozies as a wedding favor. "To have and to hold, and to keep your drink cold!"

Another awesome buffet! We used old wine crates and cutting boards to create the lifts and levels.

All of our hors d'oeurves packages include a fruit, vegetable, and cheese display. It doesn't just look awesome, it's delicious!

We used a little bit more purple to give the buffet a pop!

The cake table was in the middle of the dance floor so that everyone could see! After the cake was cut, we moved it off to serve.

A gobo displayed the couple's initial on the wall.

Everyone had so much fun! The night ended with the groom leading a conga line! It was a fantastic time had by all!

McDaniel/Warren Rehearsal Dinner

On October 14th, we hosted the McDaniel/Warren Rehearsal Dinner in the Glassroom. Such a sweet couple! They were just so excited to get married!

How cute is that sign?

The couple actually got engaged at the Masters! Thus, the green and yellow color scheme that fits in perfectly at Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club!

Those are our brandy glasses! These versatile centerpieces are perfect for floating candles, floral arrangements, or floating flowers. We have also seen sand, confetti, beads.... you name it! No additional charge for our centerpieces!

Here's a close-up!

The buffet was decorated with a few more flowers. Just the perfect pop of color.

Here's the new staple for rehearsal dinners: the photo table. It's the perfect way to show off those engagement photos!

In October, the weather is perfect here in Tennessee. The patio right off of the Glassroom is a perfect little outdoor space!

Scott/Basile Wedding Reception

This past Saturday night we held the wedding reception for Cati and Patrick here at Bluegrass! The event was fantastic and the Ballroom couldn't look better! With plenty of lighting, candles, and sparkle, the Ballroom was all set to go for a great celebration!

The sweetheart table was all set for the happy couple! We popped some champagne when they entered so they could go right into toasting.

The color scheme was ivory and yellow, which gave the room a very cheerful feeling.

Our friends at Spangler Entertainment set the mood with some specialty lighting! Almost makes the Ballroom look like a nightclub, huh?

Lemons were used for a little extra color along with silver pin-tuck runners.

Who says every centerpiece has to be the same? Floating candles in vases make for really pretty centerpieces.

Hey! Those branches light up!

Each seat had a card and a pen for the guests to fill out well wishes for the newlyweds. After many attempts, this was the best picture I could get. So for those of you who can't see it (or those of you reading this on a cell phone), the cards said:

To Cati & Patrick on this special day, I wish for you...

enough _________________________________________ to last a lifetime
a relationship like the one between ____________ and ________________
a love like the song ___________________________________________

enough money to ____________________________________________
friends to be with you when ____________________________________
good health so you can still ________________________ when you're 100
                                         With love,  ____________________________

The "wish cards" were placed in a box on the gift table!

We placed the cakes on the edge of the dance floor so that everyone could get a good view of the cake cutting!

I'm loving the groom's cake!

The buffet got some extra "glow" with the fantastic lighting!

As always, our great back-of-the-house staff made the food look delicious!

These pinwheels were made to look like lollipops! How fun!

We are maximizing our space by placing the buffet in an "L" shape. This compacts the buffet without losing table space...which means you get the same amount of food without sacrificing seating!

It was a lovely wedding reception enjoyed by all! Do you have something you need to celebrate? Give me a call at 615-824-6528 Ext. 111 or E-mail me!
