Wedding Ceremonies

So we have been a little low on weddings recently. Can you believe it? (We HAVE been doing a lot of Class Reunions, however.) I know that I have been feeling a little wedding withdraw, so I thought I would share with you one of the most fantastic wedding options that we provide. The ceremony!

It's the eternal debate here in middle Tennessee: ceremony- indoor or out? Let's face it. We have unpredictable weather! My first wedding ceremony here at the Club was out on our Patio that's right off of the Glassroom. It was a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky...until 20 minutes before the ceremony! All of the sudden, it was raining sideways! The runner got soaked, the unity candle was almost broken, and the arch almost fell on the Groom! While 99% of the ceremonies that we do here go off without a hitch, you just can't predict Mother Nature!

So what's the best option for the Bride that is craving a beautiful outdoor ceremony but weary of taking a chance on the forecast for next year? The Glassroom! With our beautiful view of the 18th green, lots and lots of windows, and the added plus of air conditioning, you can swear you exchanged vows outdoors and didn't even feel the 95 degree heat.

That's our arch! Any ceremony here at the Club is welcome to use it. No charge!

We even have the aisle runner!

We can fit up to 200 chairs in this room for a perfect ceremony.

Who can beat that scenery? The Glassroom comes with air conditioning and no bugs!

Did I mention we have a piano in house? Hire a pianist or employ the piano's secret weapon: it's a player piano! We even have a disc for it that plays the wedding march and Pachelbel's Canon! Or, choose from any of the other discs in our repertoire.

The best part of having your wedding ceremony in the Glassroom? Having your reception in the Ballroom! It's just a half a minute walk from the ceremony to the reception. How awesome is that?

Anne Martin and Lacey's Sweet 16

Last night, we hosted Anne Martin and Lacey's Duet Sweet Sixteen Party in the Glassroom! Everything was just so cute I had to take lots of pictures!

Right outside the Glassroom, the girls' gift tables displayed portraits to be signed with birthday wishes.

These girls had been best friends since they were three!

We used "4-tops" in the Glassroom for a fun party atmosphere. On the tables, we used our white linen and the girls' moms brought in some colorful fabric and flowers. 

Here's another shot of the room. It looked so cute and bright!

It wasn't you typical buffet! We used round chaffers for something a little different. The guests were treated to heavy hors d'oeuvres, which is great for those laid-back parties!

The tables were decorated with confetti, flowers, and candy.

Like a lot of our Glassroom parties, the patio became the dance floor. The girls' moms did a great job making sure the patio was incorporated into the decor.

The tent on the patio was no exception! The lanterns looked so cute up there!

Once again, our friends at Faboo Cakes did an awesome job on the cake!



























We love candy bars! This one looked delicious!

Our friends at Snyder Entertainment were also there! Photo booths are PERFECT for Sweet Sixteens! Each photo is put into a scrapbook and signed by the guests for a one-of-a-kind keepsake for both of the girls to remember their party!

These props were available for the guests to use in their photos.

A video of the girls through the years played continually on our projector, screen, DVD player, and speakers.

Sawyers/Wells Wedding Reception

This past weekend we hosted yet another fabulous wedding! The Ballroom was perfectly decorated with red and white.

The Bride and Groom came here about a month and a half ago and took some really awesome pictures out on our golf course. The pictures were incorporated into their guest book. How cute! The Bride used our display table with a red sash for her guestbook.

The Bride and Groom also had a little book that gave their guests an opportunity to write well wishes and words of advice on little cards. These cards were inserted into the book and will be a great keepsake for the happy couple.

The Bride wanted lots of candles, and we made it happen! We also made sure to match the table numbers to their color scheme!

This is something I love to do. When Brides order chair covers, I always encourage them to order some extra sashes. They can be used as table runners to add just a little more color here and there.

Just a close-up of the head table! At the last minute, rose petals were sprinkled on the tables to add a little something else.

Our chef's did a great job with the fruit, vegetable, and cheese display. The guests helped themselves to the yummy appetizer while they were waiting for the bridal party to arrive.

The cake was very classic and elegant.

And surprise! The cake table is the piano! We have this piano in house and it can be moved into any room. Once again, we used the extra sashes to add a little more color.

The guests could help themselves to little goody bags on their way out. It was a beautiful event!
